Busy but still excited…

Are you tired of that word yet?  Excitement.  It’s everywhere.  They are talking about presidential candidates and the excitement that they are causing.  Everybody’s excited about Jeremy Lin – the new NBA superstar.  It seems that excitement is everywhere but where it should be.  I’m running a hectic schedule for the past 2 weeks, but guest what?  I’m still excited!  We are looking forward to the Romantic Escape that begins tomorrow night!  It’s the 4th year, and will definitely be our biggest crowd yet.  The theme is “Perfect Love Casteth out Fear”.   I just spoke to my secretary, Sis. Elizabeth Viers.  She warned me that the “goodie bag” is the most awesome yet.   Her idea of a goodie bag is UNREAL!  She’s the greatest events coordinator you could ever have.  We’re looking for several pastors and some of their people.  It’s going to be great!  Look out Lake Junaluska – we’re on our way!

I’m also very excited about the enthusiasm that the two new series’ have sparked.  The Sunday morning series, Christ in the Tabernacle is going to be awesome, and the night series, Honor Begins At Home has already triggered a lot of reaction.   We are looking forward to seeing what God will do with these messages.

Last week’s Pastor and His Men Conference was WONDERFUL!  Thank you Pastor Watson and Glory Land Baptist Church for a FIRST CLASS conference!  The preaching was phenomenal, the fellowship was such a blessing, and the food was UNREAL.  We are already planning next years conference!  Our men stood and testified on Sunday at the life-long changes that will result because of the meeting.  If you didn’t go to this one, plan to next year.  It’s worth it!
