Quick update on what God is doing…

I know its been a while since I updated the blog.  I’ve just been busy.  We are in the process of remodeling the Christian Academy.  What started out as a small facelift turned into a full-scale renovation of the lower level.  The Lord has been gracious enough to allow us to repaint, re-carpet and do a beautiful acid stain on the hallways.  The biggest job was removing the carpet and the glue from almost 1,700 sq. feet of hallways and preparing the concrete for the stain and clear coat.  It was a major task, but we accomplished the goal and it turned out magnificent.  I will post photos of it as soon as we are finished with the other rooms.  Right now, the halls are covered with rosin paper to protect it while we finish re-carpeting the other 3,700 sq. feet of class rooms.  With school starting on August 21, we have to kick  it into high gear to get everything ready, but we are on schedule so far, so praise the Lord!  I want to thank every man, woman, boy and girl that have contributed their time, energy, and money to make this project happen.  May the Lord richly bless each of you!

I’m still rejoicing over the 4 new families that were added to the church last Sunday morning.  We want to welcome the Simpsons, the Werners, the Westons and the Woodys to our church family.  We are also looking forward to the baptism service in the morning.  Seeing new converts saved, baptized and added to the church is what it is all about!!  AMEN!!

We are looking forward to the new school year, and the new students that God has brought our way.  There’s so much to be excited about, and I want to personally thank God for being so good to us!
