In 2000, Pastor Raynes shared with the church his desire to open a home for young boys needing behavioral, spiritual, and academic intervention. The old fellowship hall, replaced in 1992 with the new multi-purpose facility, was renovated into a very comfortable home setting. After lengthy battles over state and local codes disputes, the home took in its first young man in February 2004. Since that time, six young men have come to the home, and all give testimony to the fact that God worked in their lives while they were here. Presently, three boys are in the home, and Brother Derek Gazaway and his wife, Sister Frankie are the full time Directors.  Bro. and Sis. Curtis Brown have been faithful to assist whenever needed.

Since its inception, the church family has embraced the boys’ home ministry making each young man God has sent his way to feel like a part of the Pleasant View family. Please pray for this ministry and for the boys that God has sent our way that God will work in their life. It is our prayer to see them grow up into godly, Christian men.
