Our Pastor
Pastor Shiflett was saved in 1976, called to preach in 1993, and served with his family for over 5 years in South Africa. He has been our pastor since July of 2006. He and his wife, Grace have five children.

Pastor Shiflett was a building contractor prior to going into the ministry with a successful construction company. He studied and prepared for the ministry at Grace Baptist Institute in Harlem, Georgia, a ministry of Antioch Baptist Church. He and his family sing often in our services.
Pastor Shiflett enjoys many hobbies when he is not pastoring the flock; hobbies such as deer hunting, riding and tending their horses, making improvements on their log home, reading, playing instruments, song writing and spending time with his family.
Pastor Shiflett also preaches at campmeetings, conferences and revival meetings as God permits. He has written numerous books, tracts and articles. Several of them have been translated into other languages and a few are being used as Sunday School curriculum and Bible College courses.
Mrs. Grace was raised in a godly, Christian home in Dearing Georgia and attended Antioch Baptist Church where her dad, Dr. Ronald Young was the pastor. She and Pastor Shiflett were married on July 15th, 1995. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children, volunteering at Pleasant View Christian Academy or serving in the church. She loves cooking for her family and the many guests they have in their home. She also enjoys shopping, tending the house and reading.
