It's Time to Put Your Foot Down

Deuteronomy 1:22-32

A. The Conditions of the Promise - v. 22

1. Persistence - diligent to keep
2. Passion - to love
3. Path - to walk in all his ways

II. The Conquering of the People

1. A Purging - v.23
2. A Possession - to have and to hold - v. 24 yours
3. A Place - every place
4. A Power - no man will be able to stand

III. The Choices

*A blessing - total adherence

*A curse - turning aside

It's Time to Put Your Foot Down about ...

1. Scriptures - KJB - we're not going to use perversions of God's Word!
2. Singing - not contemporary - we're going to keep the music like it is.
3. Separation - we're not retreating. We're going to put our foot down!
4. Sin

Conclusion:  Joshua 14:6-14 - 45 years later Caleb was still determined to put his foot down and claim the territory that God had given him.
