2012 Campmeeting - June 4-7
For 33 years, Pleasant View has hosted an Old Fashion Campmeeting during the month of June. We welcome guests from all over the East Coast and enjoy a time of preaching, singing, and fellowship. We provide air-conditioned dorms for the men and women and feed our guests three hot, home-cooked style meals a day. We provide hotel accomodations for pastors, evangelists and missionaries. Discount rates are available through the church for those interested.
The meeting begins on Monday night and goes through Thursday evening. We have morning, afternoon and evening services on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Preachers will be called from the floor. We hope you’ll make plans to attend!

2012 Junior Camp – June 19-22

For years now, we’ve also hosted a fun-filled camp in June for ages 4-12. Camp begins on Tuesday afternoon and runs through Friday at lunch. The camp features a host of games, skits, activities, waterslide, crafts as well as tremendous preaching and teaching. We’ve seen many children saved as a result of this ministry. We always have a “theme” for the week and let the kids dress up in costumes. Our Pastor and camp workers dress up as well!
We have a great time and hope you’ll consider bringing your youth group this coming year. The theme will be “Exploring New Frontiers” and will encourage our kids to go further with God. We will emphasize a “frontier” theme, wooden forts, wagons, buckskin type clothing, cowboys, Indian, gold miners and prospectors and any other “Old West” type of dress. There will be a Best Costume Award presented to a boy and a girl, so get on board with the theme!!

What does it cost to register?
Cost: $55 per camper and counsellor. Pastors and Pastor’s wives are FREE
Registration fee pays for all meals, activities, field trips, accommodations, crafts and Camp T-shirt
When do I need to register?
Deadline for Registration: June 13th.
Late Registration is $65 if space is available.
How do I register my youth group?
Contact us by email or phone and we will send you a packet of registration forms. All reservations are first come first served basis.
What ages can come?
Camp is designed for children 4 t0 12. Counsellors must be at least 18 years of age. The only exceptions are the members of PVBC. We encourage our teenagers to serve in this ministry, but this is Junior Camp – not Teen Camp.
What do I bring?
All of this information is included in the registration packet, along with the dress code of PVBC.
