Busy Second Semester Underway Print E-mail

Pleasant View Christian Academy students are enjoying (for the most partLaughing) another very busy second semester.

Our four seniors, Sarah Hedgpeth, Amber Lemmons, Natalie Raynes, and David Viers are working on their Senior Project. This is an extensive undertaking which will result in a presentation before the entire school family in May.

Then for the rest of the student body; along with their normal academics and research projects, everyone is busy preparing for the South Carolina Association of Christian Schools Fine Arts Festival in March. As they have for many years now, students are working in vocal choir (including small and large ensembles and solos), instrumentals (piano, violin and flute), handbell choir and two ensembles, and speech.

This year, to encourage more participation the Executive Director of our state association, Rev. Edward Earwood, moved Bible Preaching and Bible Teaching to a separate day. As a result every 7-12 grade student at PVCA is working on a sermon or Bible lesson. The progress we have seen already is exciting, and we are looking forward to great things from this year's student body. Above all, our goal is to see them dedicate their all to God's glory and use. We ask all of our friends in the ministry and those visiting this website to join with us in praying to this end.
