A highlight of the day was the awards ceremony held before the tournament began to recognize regular-season accomplishments. Starla Townsend was recognized as a "top tier" quizzer, Esther Tobias was honored for second place among coaches on the PACT test (a written exam over this year's material - Romans and James), and the Pleasant View team was honored with second place on the group competition of the PACT.
