Our hearts were blessed today as the 7-12 grade students at PVCA shared their messages and lessons prepared for the upcoming SCACS Bible Preaching and Teaching Conference next  week. The young men preached their messages and received evaluations from Pastor Shiflett, Bro. Randy Bryson from Open Door Baptist Church in Easley, SC, and Bro. John Turner from Calvary Baptist Church in Greer, SC.

From the opening message until we concluded at 2:30 P.M. this afternoon, we were blessed and thrilled at the diligent preparation of these young men! They expounded the Word of God carefully and with an obvious sincerity. The pastors' comments, both written and verbal, were very helpful and encouraging.

While the young men were preaching, our young ladies were having their Bible teaching presentations evaluated by Mrs. Grace Shiflett, our pastor's wife, and Mrs. Frankie Gazaway, the wife of our boy's home director. These ladies and the girls' Bible teacher, Miss Elizabeth Viers, were equally blessed and amazed at the excellent work done by these young ladies.

Pleasant View Christian Academy will host the Junior High Ladies Teaching next Monday. Then our senior high ladies and all of our young men will travel to Columbia on Wednesday for the remainder of the teaching/preaching conference. Then on Thursday and Friday the music and speech competition will be held in Columbia also.
