Cascades is an upscale retirement community. Twelve years in the planning stages, this community provides retirement living at its finest! When Mr. Blevins from the Greenville County Veterans Affairs Office asked us to accompany him to this event, we mistakenly assumed we were going to a typical retirement home. After adjusting to our posh surroundings, the young people did a fine job! They performed a small portion of the program they had presented that morning at County Square.

Afterwards, we enjoyed some light refreshments with the veterans, staff, and other guests. Then, the gracious staff members gave us the grand tour! We really enjoyed ourselves, and it was a fun ending to a very busy day. The Cascades staff and management were so impressed with the young people that we were invited back to participate in their Christmas event.
