Heaven Came Down and Glory Filled Our Souls! Print E-mail

What a thrill to be in the Lord's house this past Sunday! After a good Sunday School hour, the morning service opened up with the joy and presence of the Lord as the choir sang What a Wonderful Place and the congregation joined in on Glad Reunion Day. God then directed our hearts and minds to our salvation purchased on Calvary with the remainder of the song service. After another congregational and the choir numbers, the men's quartet was used of God in a tremendous way as they sang There's Room at the Cross for You and More Than Ever. In this day of compromise and falling away, what a blessing and challenge to be reminded that we can love Him and serve Him now more than ever!

Then on Sunday night, we had a "feast of charity!" God blessed in a wonderful and real way throughout the entire song service. During the final special of the evening, I Have Been Blessed, His presence was so real as His people simply worshipped and thanked Him for so many blessings. It was a tremendous blessing to see the people of God fellowshipping, worshipping, and praying. The testimonies that followed this part of the service, many by the young people, honored God and blessed the saints. Pastor Shiflett carried a heavy burden to preach, and his message on "Mature in Our Decisions" was powerful. So many folks responded to the preaching of the Word, that it was obvious why God had placed this message on the man of God's heart.

All we can really says is, "Praise God from Whom ALL Blessings Flow!"
