Oh, What a Day |

Well, if you live in the Upstate of SC or have ever heard the Burns Trio sing, you probably think the phrase, "Oh, What a Day" refers to that great song they sing about heaven. Certainly, what a day our first day in heaven will be. But we can have a little heaven while we're on our way!
This past Sunday, we left saying, "Oh, what a day!" God's presence was so real, and He ministered to so many hearts, that we left full of gratitude to our wonderful Saviour.
The church house was full, and we had a host of visitors. But while we were thankful for all those who were here and were certainly hoping to see some lost folks saved, we were most grateful for the sweet manifestation of the presence of God. As the song service progressed, the realness of the Spirit of God became more and more evident. Folks began to testify, worship, and enjoy some good old fashioned brotherly love.
Sunday night we returned, enjoyed a good free spirit of worship, and received help from our pastor as he preached on "Rise Up and Build" from I Chronicles. Oh, what a day in the house of God!
