What a mighty God we serve!  Starting on Tuesday, we had junior campers from several states and churches present for PVBC Junior Camp.  The guest preacher was Evangelist Justin Cox from McQuady Kentucky.  The Lord blessed the entire week with great services and safety.  Thursday night, the Lord blessed us with a sweet, Holy Ghost moving in the invitation that ended up going on for almost an hour and a half with at least 12 campers accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.  To God be the glory!  Afterwards, we watched some of our men put on a first rate fireworks show.  All in all, from the waterslide to the visit to the zoo, Christ was preeminent this week, and we thank Him for manifesting Himself to us!

God moved in this week in an amazing way.  The winds of revival have been blowing through this place for about 3 weeks.  This week, God let us hear some great preaching.  Our church will never be the same.  This is one of those revivals that normally come once in a lifetime. The last time I have witnessed this type of move of God was back in the 70's when I was a little kid.  God has blessed us with an entire week of Divine manifestations.  Our young people are on fire and experiencing God in a very real way.

I have been praying for God to give just 5 of our young people a taste of the sacred anointing.  He answered my prayer!  God showed up in the girls dorm about 3:30 AM on Friday and made Himself real to 5 of our teenage girls.  They came down to the church at 9 AM on Friday for our normal workday and clean up and we met in the church and God showed up.  We had a 4 1/2 hour prayer/testimony/singing/shouting service.  God has touched our young people and our church folks in an unbelievable way.  We are having church again tonight at 7 PM.  Pray for us to continue to have God's touch in this place.  If you want to get in on it, come on.  This is as real of a revival as I've ever been a part of. To God be the glory!!!

I felt led of the Lord to start the Saturday night Youth Meetings, starting tonight, at least for the Summer.  The dates of the Youth Meetings are as follows:

  • June 9 and 23
  • July 14 and 28
  • August 11 and 25

All meetings will be at 7:00 PM.  Everyone is invited!

On Wednesday night, May 30, we will sign up for Camp Meeting jobs! Please be ready to do your part to be a blessing to the people of God who will come needing encouragement and help next week. Jesus said he notices when we give a cup of cold water! Look at every job as given "in the name of a prophet" for the glory of God!

The Sunday after camp meeting, June 10, we will meet with all those interested in working for Junior Camp (June 26-29). There are plenty of jobs for anyone who wants to help. These include: kitchen, crafts, dorm help, game/activities coordinators, counselors, etc.

Winds of revival... Print E-mail

After several months of praying and preaching, God is answering prayer.  We have been asking the Lord to send a revival to our church and for God to move in a mighty way in our young people's lives.  The Lord has been so good to touch hearts lately and breathe on us in a special way here lately.  Sunday morning's message was about Moses being on the mountain, looking at the Promised Land, but unable to enter in.  The message, "Looked At but Locked Out" was a sobering time when we were reminded that if Moses didn't find God's perfect will for his life, it is possible that we don't either.  Then on Sunday evening, for over 2 hours, the people of God testified, shouted, sang and praised God for his goodness.  I never did get liberty to preach.  Praise the Lord, the Preacher showed up and we had a time in God's house last night.  I'm so thankful for God's blessings and for meeting with us yesterday.

Be much in prayer for the upcoming camp meeting.  We'd love to see God manifest Himself!
