Then on Sunday night, Bro. Adam Humphries brought a good number from his church, Heritage Baptist in Cornelia, Georgia, and we enjoyed worshipping with these good folks. Both choirs sang, and special music was provided from Brother Humphrie's church and Bro. and Sis. Jonathan Shook. Pastor Shiflett brought a tremendous message, "The Poison of Peer Pressure" that every young person in America needs to hear! The truth was not for teens only as many parents also made their way to the altar.

We are looking forward to an exciting week. Brother Raynes is preaching at Victorious Valley for Bro. Johnny McGill through Thursday night, and several of our folks will be attending that meeting. Then, Thursday through Saturday, Pastor and Mrs. Shiflett will host a couples retreat at the Ridgecrest Conference Center in Asheville, NC. This coming Sunday, Dr. Charles Keene will be with us for Stewardship Sunday.
