What a wonderful God we serve. He has blessed our church family in so many ways this year, and this final Sunday of 2007 was a very blessed Lord's Day! Surely our hearts should cry out with the psalmist that He has crowned another year with His goodness. 

On Sunday morning, God gave our pastor a powerful message on serving God with our WHOLE heart. Then on Sunday night, the service was filled with heartfelt testimonies from the church family about the mercy and goodness of God in the year 2007. Pastor Shiflett had asked Brother Raynes to preach in the evening service, and after the testimonies he preached about the serious woe pronounced upon the city of Capernaum. What a sobering thought to realize how many opportunities the folks in that city had to come to God, yet they refused. The message to Pleasant View was not unheeded, as many folks came to the altar to do business with God.

God has blessed the PVBC family this year, and we are anticipating great and mighty things in the coming year!
