The Lord blessed our hearts today as we started our annual World Missions Conference. Pastor brought a tremendous 2-part message from Matthew 28 on the Great Comission. God worked in folk's hearts in both services, and in the Sunday night service in particular, the altar was filled!

On Sunday night, Pastor Shiflett and the church family honored Bro. Jimmy Rose and his wife for nearly fifty years of faithful service in Brazil. What a blessing it was to give "honor where honor is due" for this dear man of God. One of our own members, Bro. Adriano Gomes, was saved as a result of Brother Rose's ministry in Brazil, and Pastor had him to share a testimony during the tribute to Brother Rose.

God stirred our hearts as Bro. Kevin Smith shared what God is doing with him and his family as they prepare to go to St. Lawrence Island in Alaska. We rejoiced with this dear brother as he shared the open doors and the mighty working of the hand of God in his life and ministry.
