Hispanic Ministry Update - June 08 Print E-mail

After a year of plowing, sowing, watering, and fertilizing, we have seen God begin to give the increase in our effort to reach the Hispanic community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Since April, four have been saved, baptized and are attending services regularly. Two others have professed faith in Christ, but have not yet been baptized. Attendance at the weekly English classes remains low, but consistent. In addition, it has been a tremendous blessing to see the growth in those who have trusted Christ. They desire to work and help here at the church, attend local meetings when possible, and best of all they have shared with us their desire to see their friends and family experience the joy and peace they now have!

Two weeks ago, three Brazilians attended our Sunday morning service and the afternoon English class. We are continuing to reach out to these men and ask you to help us pray for their salvation.

Please continue to lift this important ministry up to the Lord. We must have His power and His blessing if we are going to reach the lost who are all around us.
