Hispanic Ministry Update - March 08 Print E-mail
The Hispanic outreach here at PVBC continues to grow slowly but surely. On Sunday, February 24, another man trusted Christ as his Saviour!

That afternoon, he had enjoyed Sunday dinner with one of our families, and the rest of the afternoon was spent sharing the gospel. Just before Brother Gomez went to his room to make some preparations to leave for the Hispanic service, he reminded the gentleman that eternity was sure, and that there are only two options! When he came back into the living room he asked if the visitor was ready to leave for church, but Arturo said he was ready to trust Christ right then and there! Needless to say, they were late to church, but had a very good reason! Amen! Brother Gomez had been witnessing and befriending this man for the past few months, and we praise the Lord for saving his soul!

Sara continues to attend the Spanish service quite regularly. Please pray for her growth and that we can reach her family.

Geraldo has become extremely faithful to English classes, Spanish services, and English services! Pray that the Holy Spirit will touch his heart and convict him about his need of a Saviour.

After staying away for several weeks, Ismael has slowly started coming back around. Please pray for this young man as well.

Those who minister to the Hispanic community here in the Upstate desire your prayers for the power of the Holy Spirit and spiritual discernment as they reach out to those who are lost in religious darkness.
