Prayer Letter

Summer ‘08

Dear Pastor,

It is a blessing to be able to share with you what God is doing here at Pleasant View Baptist Church, and I trust that you are seeing His hand at work there in your part of the vineyard. We truly are co-laborers, and we rejoice when we hear of God moving and working in your ministries!

In our last letter, I told you about two new boys who had just come to us. Jeff and Mark continue to do well, and we have seen some growth in both boys. They finished the school year having adjusted quite well to their new surroundings, and both received recognition at our annual awards ceremony for their progress. Since the school year ended, they have been involved in camp meeting here at Pleasant View, Antioch Baptist's family camp at Sand Mountain in Trenton, GA, and junior camp here at our church.

Recently, we have been in contact with some pastors regarding other boys and would ask for your prayers that God will send us the very ones we need. Their needs are very great, and we are thankful for the opportunity to try to make a difference in their lives. Please pray for all those who work with them. It is a spiritual warfare, and we need the power of the Holy Spirit.
