Dear Friends and Supporters:

As we enter the Christmas season, we are reminded of the sacrificial gift of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. I love the words to the song, “That Story Will Never Grow Old.” Even though I’ve known him as my personal Saviour since early childhood, I never get tired of hearing about what He did for us when He came to this sin-cursed earth to redeem us. 

That story is what motivates us in this ministry to boys needing a Christian home and a Bible-believing church. Jesus said that when we minister to, “The least of these” it was the same as ministering to Him! What a privilege! Please pray that we will be empowered by the Holy Spirit to truly make a difference in the life of every boy God sends this way.

This fall, one of our boys was taken home by his family. It was very hard to see him go, and we would ask you to pray that God will intervene in his life. We are hopeful that God used us to sow some good seed in his life that will one day bear fruit.

Nathaniel continues to do well. He has now been with us for nearly three years, and we are excited about his potential. Pray for him, please. Homesickness is sometimes an issue for him, even though he and his grandparents all agree that this is the best place for him. We also currently have a missionary family’s son living in the boy’s home facility as a boarding student. He has provided good fellowship for Nathaniel, and we are thankful for this opportunity to be a blessing to the missionary family.

Continue to pray for additional boys and for the expenses of the home. I’m sure you understand that many of the operating expenses are the same whether we have one boy or six boys! The Gazaway family has proven to be very dedicated to the ministry, and we would love to have more young boys to minister to.
