Gearing up for Year number 75! Print E-mail
Church

Starting this month, we are entering into our 75th year.  I am very excited at what God has in store for us.  The services have been a blessing, and we saw a young man saved last Wednesday night.  I preached a message entitled, When I Am Old out of Psalm 71:18.  I referred to Pastor Emeritus Larry Raynes as an example of a man that is being used for God, even in the later years.  To top off the night, Bro. Raynes was the one that led this young man to the Lord.  It was such a blessing!

We will be distributing door-hangers in the neighborhoods around our church.  We've got 5,000 ready to pass out, along with some brand new tracts.  God has been so good to us, and has sent us several new families in the past couple of weeks.  God has been bringing in visitors in droves; averaging between 15 and 30 per service.  The Bible promises that if we sow, we will reap.  God's word never fails!

If you are in the Greater Greenville area, and are looking for a church, why not visit Pleasant View.  We'd love to see you and your family!

Many Christians spend so much time in the past, it makes you wonder if God is still working in their life today! We should certainly remember the blessings He has bestowed upon us, the trials He has brought us through, and the lessons we have learned, but praise God, our Heavenly Father is alive and well TODAY!

Well, if you live in the Upstate of SC or have ever heard the Burns Trio sing, you probably think the phrase, "Oh, What a Day" refers to that great song they sing about heaven. Certainly, what a day our first day in heaven will be. But we can have a little heaven while we're on our way!
